Short Synopsis: Dennis is a man pre-occupied in his garage, oblivious to his wife's mental and physical disintegration as a result of his overbearing mother and his being oblivious to her needs. Into this environment, another dysfunctional couple - Pam and Neil - come looking to buy Vera's car. Over four birthdays over the course of a year, tensions and antagonisms rise as Vera is driven to breakdown.
